In September 2007 Wellington’s streets were filled with the sound of laughing, music, entertainment and festivity, as well as the oohs and ahhs of people tasting the fantastic array of food and drink from local producers. Top quality chefs gave cookery demonstrations, there was a sausage trail, butchery and fish filleting demonstrations, quizzes, apple juicing and other children’s entertainment, plus live music performances to add to the festive atmosphere.

The day ended with a Beer and Curry night run by Cotleigh Brewery and Saffron Kitchen. Sunday saw fun events and activities in and around the town, including tractor rides at Sheppy’s Cider, a tour of Cotleigh Brewery, tastings at the Cheese & Wine shop, an open day at Kings Cycles, cafes and restaurants open with special Festival fare, and more.
